This beautiful but strenuous circular hike enchants with breathtaking panoramic views and secluded mountain idylls. You can enjoy truly postcard-perfect views. The route leads along idyllic mountain lakes such as Unterer Gaisalpsee, rushing waterfalls and numerous striking peaks in the high Alps.
As with all mountain hikes, this route requires fitness, surefootedness and sturdy footwear.
At Höfatsblick, you can stop off at the Nebelhornbahn cable car station. Of course, the route can also be shortened from here.
The starting point is easy to reach by public transport. You can take the bus from Oberstdorf train station to the "Rubi" stop.
