Natural circular route in the Free State of Bavaria.
This green from very detailed mountain bike tour begins in Oberreute at the church. It goes in a north-easterly direction through Hopfen, then across fields and green meadows onto the LI 4. Now you follow the course of the Allgäu Railway eastwards along paved roads to the beautiful Großer Alpsee. There are bathing spots further east and on the south bank. The return tour leads along the main tributary of the lake, the Konstanzer Ach. You pass the Holzschlag Alpe wildlife sanctuary to the north. Again the Staufner Berg is passed and through the Rainwald Nature Park. After a short stopover in Oberstaufen, you follow the Weißbach to the waterfalls and via Irsengrund you get back to the starting point of this special tour.
