Big Nagelfluh Circular with the Mountain Bike

Starting point: quiet parking lot directly at the Weißbach. Right at the beginning it goes 200 meters up in the direction of Steibis. After a few bends and the saddle at 1040m there is a wonderful view of the Voralberger hill country. Below the saddle it goes past the chapel over the green border to Austria. After the Hochschlitten ski lift, it goes downhill to Riefensberg. The heart of the tour begins at the Bolgenach Bridge. The very beautiful Schleichweg leads over the Scheidwan Alp back into the Allgäu. The small toll road leads past the Lecknerachsee to the Alpengasthaus Höfle. Then follows a few kilometers of gravel road past the secluded Helmigen Alp. There is almost off-road fun here. After changing between a solid road and a gravel path, there is the last real ascent to the Scheidwang Alp. This is followed by an 11km long valley ride on the toll road down to Gunzesried. The conclusion is a leisurely ride past the Alpsee back to Oberstaufen.
