From the hiking car park Hohenburg (720m) to the east on the road towards Hirschtalsattel or Lenggrieser hut. At Hirschtalsattel (1227m) turn right. Later at 1320m follow the path to the left towards Rauhalm. Above the Rauhalm on the ridge of the ridge to the summit (1601m), cross it in a southerly direction. At the pasture fence then take the trail west to the Lenggrieser hut (1336m). About the Grasleitensteig back into the valley to the starting point. (Significantly faster it goes from the hut on the forest road).
