The route starts at the Lenggries-Hohenburg hiking parking lot and begins with an ascent through the Hirschbachtal valley over the Hirschtalsattel saddle. This is followed by an easy trail through the Stinkergraben (S2) and down towards Bad Wiessee. Another ascent follows over the Söllberg to the Aueralm up to the Fockenstein trail (S2). From there, the fun downhill section begins via the Geierstein trail (S2/S3) over root carpets, drops and serpentines into the valley.
You should be experienced on a mountain bike, especially for the more challenging ascents and descents. Hohenburg Castle is located near the starting point and can be visited as an option.
