Best trails near Clown

Promising hike near Lenggries in Tölzer Land. This beautiful but also strenuous hike leads from the mountain station of the Brauneck mountain railway over a breathtaking high path to the Benediktenwand and back over the Tutzinger hut. The way over the armpits requires a head for heights and surefootedness. Those who are minimally sure-footed can easily cope with this tour and enjoy the beautiful views. First, take the Lenggries gondola to the Brauneck. From there it goes to the summit cross and on via the managed Stie-Alm towards Latschenkopf. Back to Lenggries you can either walk relaxed or take the gondola again.

Via Alpina leads from Lenggries towards the west again along the Kaiser-Maximilian trail up to the Brauneck mountain. For those who would like to save themselves the long climb through the woods, it is also possible to take the Brauneck cable car. From the Brauneck, there is a leisurely hike at an altitude of 1,400-1,500m through mountain pines, alpine grass and sheer terrain along the Benediktenwand cliffs.
