Panoramic circular hike from Wegscheid to the Bayernhütte on Brauneck, Bavaria.
This beautiful circular tour leads mainly along paved gravel paths. It is partly steep uphill and downhill.
The starting point is the parking lot on the Draxlhang. From there, the route continues via the Milchhäusl (only open in winter) and the managed Kotalm up to the cozy, managed Florianshütte. Continue to the Bayernhütte. The Bayernhütte is open 365 days a year and also offers overnight accommodation (prior reservation recommended).
From there, the descent begins via the Sulzer Steig, which is steep in places. Caution! The path is also used as a driveway for the hut keepers.
