The route starts at Aschaffenburg train station and first leads out over the main road towards Lohr, to the left of the motorway. This section of the route is beautiful. After crossing the motorway at the end of Hösbach, however, the route becomes more beautiful. The road is heavily used, but the section down to Mespelbrunn is quieter. Here the inclines are rewarded with a view of a beautiful landscape. Behind Oberschnorrhof this route leads up to the Hundsrück, there is a nice inn (open on Mondays), and here the official bike path continues to Wildensee. From Miltenberg back to Aschaffenburg, it goes from Obernberg to the left of the Main on well-paved paths and paths close to the river back to the starting point.
