• Access Information Wendelsteinhaus: The Wendelsteinhaus is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from October through the end of May, and daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from June through the end of September. This route starts at the valley station of the Wendelstein Cable Car in Bayrischzell-Osterhofen and leads across alpine meadows and several wooded sections up to the summit of the Wendelstein. From the highest peak of the Mangfall Mountains, a truly spectacular panoramic view unfolds. You can enjoy it even more with a drink at the Wendelsteinhaus. The return to the starting point can be made via the large-cabin shuttle cable car or by following the same route. The final stretch up to the summit requires sure-footedness and a head for heights.
