Point to point
Challenging hike from the Oytal to the Nebelhorn near Oberstdorf, Bavaria. Experienced hikers will get their money's worth on this tour. The Panoramaweg, which initially climbs steadily, leads from the Oytal up to the so-called Oytal Gleitweg. Here the path becomes very steep very quickly. The path often stops and is partially secured with steel cables. Via the Seealpsee it goes directly to the Edmund-Probst-Haus (and thus to the mountain station of the Nebelhornbahn). Now the steep ascent to the Nebelhorn begins (at an altitude of 2224 meters). Once at the top, there are places to stop and you can admire the wonderful view of the Allgäu Alps. The way back is either on the same route back or with the Nebelhornbahn. See "Tips" for more information. Highlights: - Parking: Parking at the Oybele hall in Oberstdorf - Natural and mountainous landscape with very nice views - Seealpsee
