Hindelang - Imberger Horn - Spitzberg

The route is not that easy. It requires a certain amount of stamina and surefootedness. However, the ascent from the valley to the Imberger Horn is not necessarily worthwhile, because it leads over the toboggan run and thus over a very gravelly wide path, which is sometimes also used by mountain bikers / downhillers. If you are not interested in the sporty aspect, you can save yourself the additional 2 hours of ascent and prefer to take the gondola lift instead. Very crowded at the top of the panorama path, and on the way to the summit it is like a small migration of peoples. Because of the foresight, the climb is still worth it. It gets much quieter on the second summit of the tour, the Strausberg. It's also a bit easier to linger here, as you don't run the risk of being pushed down from the summit by the people who follow you. Nice descent over the Strausbergsattel to the Mitterhaus, where a last rest before the 1.5 hour return trip through the valley is a must.
