Since 2015, the Oberpfaelzer Seenweg has connected the Jurasteig via the Erzweg with the Goldsteig and enables unrestricted hiking enjoyment from Franconian Switzerland through the Bavarian Jura to the Bavarian Forest. On around 70 kilometers you can experience the Amberg-Sulzbacher Land, the Oberpfaelzer Seenland and the district of Cham from their most beautiful sides. You will be accompanied on the four daily stages by fire, earth, air and water: The community of Ebermannsdorf stands for the story of "white smoke to black gold", in the Oberpfaelzer Seenland you will experience the exciting history of the largest rock cellar labyrinth in Bavaria and the transformation of a former coal mine into a leisure paradise for nature lovers. The Oberpfaelzer Seenweg leads across (wild herb) meadows to the Eixendorfer See with its diverse range of leisure and recreational opportunities. Here you can enjoy the views and insights along the way and hike between the lakes and rivers. You experience fish and nature and immerse yourself in the local fairytale world. The Oberpfaelzer Seenweg is marked and signposted as an access route to the Goldsteig quality hiking trail in both directions with the blue Goldsteig signet.
