Those who love remote forests, tall fir trees and dense beech stands will be delighted with this tour. Starting point of our hike is the Maria-Stern-Platz in Dammbach-Wintersbach (www.mespelbrunn.de). Next to it is a playground with bike parcour and on the adjacent meadow a small barefoot path. Over the old way we reach after a long climb the Geishöhe with the same named inn. The settlement Geishöhe exists since the 18th century. The Spessartbund had the cellar tower built in 1937. From the tower you have a unique view to the Taunus and the forests of the Spessart. Now it's off to Wildental, a hunting ground. It also has to be overcome twice a gate. Through dense forests you reach a crossroads above Wildensee. If you want you can make a detour to Wildensee (refreshments available). Shortly there is a nice rest area. Now it's back to the Waldgasthof Heppe after Dammbach- Winter Bach.
