This alpine hike leads from Neuschwanstein Castle in Hohenschwangau to the summit of the Säuling through the foothills of the Ammergau Alps.
First, it goes over wide forest paths until the Brunnenstubenweg/water pipe path leads into the forest and follows the signs to Säuling. It involves a steel ladder used to climb over rough terrain.
