This circular hike combines pretty much everything wonderful that Bavaria has to offer: Fairytale castles, idyllic mountain lakes, towns worth seeing, great panoramic views and dense forests. The circular route begins in Hohenschwangau and leads past Hohenschwangau Castle to the picturesque Alpsee lake and along the Alpenrosenweg trail past the Schwansee lake to Füssen. You return via the Schwarzenberg.
