This is a certified premium hiking trail. The start is at the Sommerseite car park. Right at the start, you are greeted by a fantastic view of the Upper Murg Valley. The route leads along unspoilt paths into the Tonbach valley to the Petermännle. Later, the rustic Sattelei hut is reached via the Sattelei trail, where a stop for refreshments is possible. On the Rinkenkopf, the wonderful view can be enjoyed.
In the winter months, a beautiful Christmas star shines on the Rinkenturm. During this time, it is not possible to climb the tower.
