Historical Black Forest gourmet trail in the central Black Forest, Baden-Württemberg
This route is a certified premium hiking trail. Old wood-making paths lead uphill in places. The diverse attractions of the route include historic ointment ovens (for tar and wagon grease), relics of rafting and the imposing deers that can be observed in the game reserve in the Tonbachtal. A special experience is the Kleemisse, a high moor area with very special vegetation. The interesting path continues to the Huzenbacher Seeblick and the Himmelsliege with really heavenly views. The descent follows later on a path to the Flößerhütte in the Tonbachtal. Arrival by bus and train is possible and there are places to stop for refreshments along the way.
