The circular hiking trail is a shortened version of the premium hiking trail "Gernsbacher Runde". Instead of approx. 43 km with 1,700 vertical meters, this round has 25 km with 1,100 vertical meters. Start and finish is at the Eberstein Bridge over the Murg in Gernsbach. Attractions such as views are distributed over the entire route, allowing deep insights into the Murg Valley and expansive views of the Black Forest. The path repeatedly leads past natural waters and rock formations and offers many varied forest passages. The route is demanding but highly recommended.
