Beautiful, interesting loop in the Black Forest, Baden-Württemberg.
This idyllic loop, which is also easy for older children to walk, leads through the impressive landscape of the northern Black Forest. The Buhlbachsee, which is hidden and idyllic in the middle of the forest, can be discovered along gravel and later narrow paths. Its depth and black color, typical of cirque lakes, used to surprise. In the meantime, however, the lake has silted up heavily. It is possible to rest on benches by the lake and eat snacks. There is a lot worth knowing and seeing on the adjacent Lothar path. The pleasant challenge, which is particularly interesting for children, is to get to the viewing platform via footbridges, ladders and stairs, which then offers great panoramic views. There are no restaurants on the way. The start can either be at the Lotharpfad car park. A bus also goes here to the Schwarzwaldhochstraße Lotharpfad stop. The loop can also be started by car from the Schwarze Lache car park in the south of the loop. The running direction is freely selectable.
