Best trails near Ventile Druckrohr

A nice hiking trail around the Kalltalsperre. The path is a wide forest road with a few information boards along the way. Since the reservoir contains drinking water, swimming is not allowed. Even in winter weather, this is a beautiful landscape.

Varied Eifel loop near Simmerath, North Rhine-Westphalia. The wooded hike starts at the Kallbrück car park, very close to the dam. The steep ascent to the Ochsenkopf rewards with marvellous views.
