The route owes its name to the coffee smuggling that occurred from Belgium which, after World War II, contributed to the survival of many families and the reconstruction of their destroyed houses. The rebuilding of the parish church, on the other hand, progressed more slowly. From there, the Schmidters regularly sacrificed parts of their smuggling profits for the construction / renovation of the church, which has since been popularly known as St. Mokka.
