Demanding hike to the Hochgernhaus The hike starts at the Hochgern car park near Marquartstein. From here the circular route leads to the Weitalm, where the Enzianhütte, the Moaralm and the Hochgernhaus are located. Here you can enjoy the great panoramic view with a cool drink on the sun terrace. Then you can start the descent well strengthened. Alternatively, the ascent to the Hochgern summit can also be connected from the Hochgernhaus. With a bit of luck you might even see a few marmots.
