Challenging hike up the Plankenstein, Bavaria. This dream tour leads from the car park at the Hufnagelstube to the Plankenstein. Firstly, the route heads towards the Rodelsteinhütte, from where it continues towards the Rottachalm and Röthensteinalm. Fantastic hike near Kreuth, Bavaria. A scenically wonderful and relatively easy mountain tour. There is a short wire rope belay on the mountain ridge. The Schwaiger and Ableitalm are passed on this route. On the way back, the route passes dilapidated Risselalm. Highlights of the tour: - Weißach - Sagenbach - Schwaiger Alm - Scheueralm - Ableiten Alm - Risserkogel

This stage is above all characterised by its expanse of woodland. As of the Riedereckalm pasture, however, this thins out, giving a view of the Risserkogel and the Grubeneck. From the Risserkogel, enjoy a fantastic view over to the Tegernsee lake. But you soon dip back onto shady woodland and follow the hiking path into the village of Kreuth.
