Formerly known as Doi Oi Chang, Doi Suthep National Park was renamed after a hermit who practiced meditation on these mountains hundreds of years ago. This park is highly trafficked by tourists visiting Chang Mai as it is close to Wat Phratat Doi Suthep, a very famous temple and the Chang Mai Zoo which is home to pandas.
