One of the best treks in Doi Inthanon National Park. This is an easy and enjoyable loop trail that overlooks the mountain ranges of the national park, making it perfect for beginners. It is compulsory to have a guide along the trek.

Easy to parkNot crowdedGreat conditionsGreat views

Good cool conditions over the Christmas holidays. However this trail is not recommended for beginners as the pass at 2 Seasons Cliff has a steep descent and then scrambling. Also, the forest route (use a gos) contains a fair amount of petrified trees and paths disappearing…. and should therefore be treated with extreme caution. If you are going up, have someone wait for you at the top, as I did. The return would be too demanding due to the psychologically and physically challenging nature of this journey. Still, hiking up Doi Inthanon “the hard way” was an adrenaline-fueled outdoor once-in-a-lifetime experience: for me!!! 5 stars.

Proper hike! I reccomend doing it anti clockwise. Lots of different terrain packed into such a fun little trail. Slightly sludgy often overgrown and always fun. I attempted to reach doi inthanon from this route however that pathway is way too overgrown to be handling it alone and without a machete.

Not very popular given the popularity of Doi Inthanon. Beautiful views most of the way. Easy trail even for my 5-year-old daughter.
