Unbelievably gorgeous. The view at the Flats Hut is wonderful, but gets better and better as you make your way past Falls Hut and up to Harris Lake. Some really impressive waterfalls.

Sentier bien sympa et pas très difficile avec vue formidable au sommet sur le glacier et le lac. Bonne rando de récupération après le roys ou l' isthmus Peak.

Just up up and straight up for 4 miles. Nice view but it’s difficult.

We were lucky to get this hike. After the storms of February the track was closed. Just before arriving in NZ, they opened up to McKenzie Hut as an out and back. A beautiful hike and these trails are amazing. Build to handle a lot of traffic. Worth the money.

Beautiful hike, fairly easy and alongside the crystal clear river. You are in the forest most of the time and you can observe all types of vegetation and birds. Nice "beach" by the river for a picnic. We had wind, sun and rain during the 4 hours hike so bring layers!! Recommend going early in the morning as it gets very crowded.

We only did this hike to the Lake Wanaka lookout because of limited time and it was an easy hike, under 2 hours. A bit of climb after you pass the Diamond Lake. Beautiful view at the top, good alternative to the harder hikes in the area if you can't do those. Could get pretty busy though so better go early.

This trail was more difficult than I thought it would be. We hiked the loop clockwise and judging from the return tract down from the peak, I think we made a good decision. Going clockwise up to the peak involved steep climbs. Overall, a nice and diversified hike.

Beautiful hike, better than expected! Some steep inclines and narrow pathways but nothing to worry about. Take the eastern route for the best views

Easy walk, but you are not here for hiking. You go there to jump of the second bridge. 7 meters. Diving into the ice cold crystal clear water! Do it!

This trail had everything. It starts with a lot of stairs. But, after that, there’s not a lot of let up. It was a challenge, uneven terrain, gaining elevation, winding through forests. Good hiking shoes/boots recommended, definitely water, maybe some snacks if you plan to make it to the top. And you should definitely plan to make it to the top. Words fail, photos can’t do justice, it’s simply put, beautiful. I went up the east track, which was more wooded and shady, and came down the west track, which was more exposed and with many more drop offs. The sand flys at the top we’re bothersome but not terrible. Basically, what I’m saying is, get to the top, have a sit, and take it in. It’s incredible.

Stunning views at the top make this a spectacular hike!!

Nice walk, quite wet ground. Easy with the exception of climbing to Liverpool hut. very steep, slippery. Challenging both up and down. Up at Liverpool hut spotted 3 Kea.

It is a moderate trail. My wife and I finished in 7 hours from carpark of Routeburn track to the summit of conical hill and come back. The summit is very windy.

Beautiful start, we made it to the Flats, it is well signed and wherever is cutted is signed as well.

Easy trail, very busy beautiful scenery

West matukituky, nice 2 hours of walk through the mountains till the inspiring hut and back to the car park.

nice track good view from the end of bushline and the hut. it's possible to a bit up from the hut to get a better view on the hut and the valley. the track is quite steep but not so hard in relation to other tracks like french ridge. the hut is nice and clean.

Beautiful trail with stunning views. We went out and back and it was closer to 10 full miles, doing the nature path on the way back was a nice divergence. Waterfalls, mountains, birds, mice. 3pm is a great time to do this one!

Incredible hike. Amazing views. Recommend doing a full figure 8 up and down. The views from the top overlooking Lake Wanaka were incredible. Not terribly difficult, even with the HOWLING winds near the top.
