Nice and quite easy hike. We went additional 2,5km up to the summit and it was definitely worth it!

Done this trail last year. It’s a tough climb but the view from the top is worth every step. Take plenty of water, especially if it’s a hot day as there is none available on the trail.

Started at 2:30am,about 30 others starting at this time. The chill of the dark, seeing first light and then sunrise just amazing!!Physically for us a tough one and as we walked down the heat from the sun was intense I personally couldn't do it in day time.7 hours walking time for us,and spent 1 hour chilling/photos at the top.

I would describe this as a moderate hike if you take your time. Good, even surface, well defined trail. Quite exposed as you climb up to, and on, Key Summit but deep in a birch forest for the rest. Was a damp and misty day but certainty rewarding views along the way with a comfortable track beneath our boots.
A popular trail this one with a huge carpark at the Divide.
We added on hour or so by going down to Lake Howden for lunch.

Not for the faint of heart. The trail was stunningly beautiful. Tough vertical hike uphill makes for slow going with all of the obstructions and trees blocking the path along the way. Once you clear the tree line, the wind is a formidable force so make sure you have a good windbreaker or down jacket with you for the top. The walk around the top is pretty amazing and has some of the best picture opportunities in Glenorchy. The downhill was a breeze, but definitely leaves you praying the next switchback will be the last by the time you hit the car park.

Recommend at least 2 liters of water and light sweater or jacket for at the top as it gets chilly in the wind. Offers great views of Lake Wanaka and Lake Hawea.

Hard but rewarding. Rain and mist and cloud and sun greeted us on this trail. Recommend hiking boots for this one.

Excellent trail until the loop, existing track is degraded on edges and is next to a cliff. Wear long pants and boots and just walk straight to the beacon through the grass to the right.

Very beautiful walk deep in the bush. Would definitely do it again.

Nice walk with several up and down sections with fantastic views of blue/green water. Perfect for a picnic!

Don't take this lightly. After an easy walk to the cascade it changes dramatically. Was wet when we did it and was a lot of mud and slippery roots. zLakr was mystical with the clouds giving way to glorilus views then closing in again

Favorite great walj in New Zealand. We went from divide to Routeburn Shelter. From Lake Mackenzie to Routeburn Falls was absolutely stunning. Fantastic views all day long. Took in both the Key Summit and the Conical both worth the effort. Last day out to Routeburn Flats was fairly easy but less scenic

Easy Sunday morning walk, families and joggers love it too. Nice views, mirror lake for free, without all the tourists, in the morning.
we enjoyed it a lot, especially after a long hike a day before.

Nice easy little walk, cool detour to the Organ pipes which is a very unique collection of rock formations

Easy walk with lovely views

There is not actually a path from Jack's point to Frankton. The farmer told us to leave and walk along the street. The Part from the Hilton Hotel to Jack's Point is great, awesome views and well maintained path. You have to share with bikers, so be aware.

Not challenging. Nice and easy.

Light and easy track. Beautiful wood with shade. Suit for family. All signs are clear. But it will be cold in summer raining day. Even it was raining day, the track is not very muddy. I reached to Lake Marian look out, but no view could look out because all covered by cloud or fog. So sad....

Worth every step! Such an amazing view, breathtaking!
Even for mountain goats like we are! It took us 3 hours return from the gondola. But as I said, we are used to hike steep terrains.
We started after 9 am, which was good, because it wasn't crowded at all. Though while walking down, many people crossed our path.

A very nice hike, I was alone! so quiet and so beautiful view
