Best trails in Suzuka Quasi-National Park
The Suzuka Mountains, which extend from north to south between Shiga and Mie prefectures, are located at the center of the park. Suzuka Quasi-National Park is home to a series of mountains over 1,000 meters high, such as Mt. Oike, Mt. Fujiwara, and Mt. Amagodake, and is home to a variety of rare species in its rich natural environment.
Around the summit of Mt. Oike, there is a forest of the Oitaya meridaceae family, which has been designated as one of Japan's top 100 natural areas to preserve in the 21st century, and you can see beautiful wild plants on each mountain.
It is also known for the golden eagle and black hawk eagle, which are at the top of the ecosystem, as well as the antelope, which is a natural monument.Char, yamame trout, and amago also inhabit the upper reaches of the Aichi River.

It is part of the magnificent Suzuka Quasi-National Park. There are a Gozaishodake Sanjo Nature Park and a famous view spot with unique shaped rocks near the summit of the mountain where you can enjoy superb views.

The mountain is selected as one of the 100 most famous mountains for flowers in Japan that various alpine flora in full bloom in spring. In autumn, the mountain is colored with autumn leaves and is decorated with ice and snow in the wintertime.

There is a famous view spot with unique shaped rocks, where you can overlook the surrounding nature.
