The Uckermark Lakes Nature Park is located north of Berlin in the middle of the water-rich, gently undulating Uckermark. The nature park presents a charming landscape with a lively relief, which was formed during the Weichselian Ice Age over 15,000 years ago. Typical of this region are the many gully lakes, swamps and moors.

Beautiful loop in the Feldberg lake district, Mecklenburg. This hike is loop around the Dreetzsee lake, starting at the car park at the windmill. The path is mostly wooded and runs along the shore of the lake. At the southern tip there is a small settlement with places to stop for refreshments, a campsite and bathing facilities. There are cafés and an ice cream parlour in Carwitz. Highlights: - beautiful nature - Ice cream parlour - Swimming opportunities in summer
