Start in Hohenwutzen, parking space available, direction Schwedt on the Oderdeich through Hohensaaten to the Oder, now turn left through the polder area to the HFW and back south past the towns of Stützkow, Alt Galow, Stolpe, Stolzenhagen and Lunow, here again to Or drive and then back to Hohenwutzen.

The visitor center in Criewen is open from April to October between 9 am and 7 pm. From November to March, the opening hours are reduced to 10 am to 5 pm. There are 13 exhibition areas providing information about nature in the national park.
