On this scenic trail, you'll start at the Royston Head car park along the road to Dolphin Beach and follow a mostly flat trail with some rocky scrambles out to the lookout area with incredible rugged peninsula views at Royston Head. There is no clear ending to the trail, choose your adventure and turn around when you feel ready!

This is a stunning trail located on the southern tip of the York Peninsular in South Australia. Parking is available at the trailhead, which can be accessed from Pondalowie Bay Road.
Enjoy the fantastic views of the Stenhouse Bay Jetty and surrounding rocky coastline as you learn about the mining history and vegetation of the area from the interpretive signage. This is a must do if you are visiting the area.

Inneston village was once a thriving mining town in the early 1900's. This trail takes you on an exploration of the ruins and provides a great insight as to what the town was like back in the day. This is a must do if you're in the area.
The trail is quite popular and begins from just inside the gate at the Inneston car park off Pondalowie Bay Road. If you're looking to extend your adventure there are other trails in the area such as the Thomson-Pfitznew Plaster Trail.

The trail begins at the end of West Cape Road where there is plenty of space for parking. From there it's a short stroll to the lighthouse and lookout.

Gym Beach Hike forms part of the famous Walk the Yorke trail. You'll enjoy hiking through the unique coastal flora and sand dunes between Browns Beach and Gym Beach. You may see a variety of birdlife and native orchids as you pass through the dense mallee vegetation.
This route can be done by starting at either Gym Beach or Browns Beach campground, hiking to the other and returning via the same route.

The Thomson-Pfitzner Plaster Trail Hike is part of the Walk the Yorke Trail. The section follows the old wooden railway line that runs from Inneston to Stenhouse Bay.
You can learn about the local environment and history from the interpretive signage along the way. The trail begins from Stenhouse Bay (near the recycling service area road), and can also be started from the other end at Inneston (near the horse stable ruins).

Leaving Marion Bay walkers and cyclists enter Innes National Park (walkers and cyclists are exempt from entrance fees), within the park hikers and cyclists follow different paths so please follow the signage. You'll be sure to see abundant wildlife within the park but also be mindful of vehicles in the park.
