This short loop leads past the church rock, which invites you to climb. First you meet the lower Kirchfels, then the Kirchfels. Further up the path is the view of Eberstein and a little further on the Fürstenstand. These are actually in the Schwarzatal nature reserve.

This path starts in Bad Blankenburg and leads to the windmill in Dittrichshütte. The trail is marked by a green triangle, hence the name. It leads through fields, forests and villages (including Unterwirbach, Oberwirbach and Braunsdorf). It's a steady climb (though not steep) the entire way.
