The route leads from Johanngeorgenstadt along the Stoneman over the Plattenberg to Abertamy. There, turn off in the direction of Pernik and then follow the cycle path to Platten. After Breitenbach / Potuky you cycle along the little-used state road.

MTB tour starting in Johanngeorgenstadt-Altstadt, via Oberjugel to the Kammloipe. In Weitersglashütte over the border on the Frühbusser Weg to Sauersack, Frühbus. Once there, back via Bohemian Hirschenstand, border crossing "Hirschenstander Pass" to Johanngeorgenstadt.

Via Oberjugel, Henneberg and the Kammloipe it goes to Sauersack in the Czech Republic. From Frühbus in the Czech Republic the valley runs towards Neuhammer. After a few kilometers, cycle left over the ridge to Hirschenstand. From there you go to the Erzgebirgskamm and back via Henneberg to Johanngeorgenstadt.

It goes through the "Lehmergrund" over the (former) shooting range to "Henneberg", from there a detour to the "Kleiner Kranichsee" and further back over the Kammloipe-Mittelflügel-Lorenzweg. Most of the routes are only suitable for mountain bikes.

Past the ski slope in Putucky, the path runs through the forest to the connecting road Platten-Neuhammer. After a few meters, turn right and take a ridge path to Pernik. On the Pernik ski slope, turn left above Pernik to get back to the mountain town of Platten. It goes back over rutted and washed-out forest paths via Ziegenrück to Breitenbach and Johanngeorgenstadt. At the end of the route, the track leads through the Grenzbach back to the German side.

Starting in Johanngeorgenstadt, the route leads via the Riesenberg houses to Sosa. From Sosa, the route leads to the Mulde Valley Cycle Trail/Karlsroute. From the starting point of the Karlsroute in Aue, you cycle along the Schwarzwasser towards Lauter. In Lauter, you leave the valley and climb approx. 300 meters in altitude, past the Danelchristelgut on the Dreitannenweg towards Antonsthal. The Mittelweg takes you via the Fällbachweg to Erlabrunn Steinheidel, where you take the Hangweg back...

The mountain bike tour begins with the ascent to the Plattenberg (not the Stoneman route). Descent from the Plattenberg to Platten goes past the Eis- and Wolfsbing on a single trail route that is only suitable for mountain bikes. Forest trails lead through the mountain town of Platten to Pernik. The connection road from Seifen to Abertamy can be reached via the ski artery. You get back to Johanngeorgenstadt through the Schwarzwassertal.
