Wooded hike from the Mayen city center. This hike leads from the center of Mayen out into the wooded areas to the west of the city. Here it goes on mostly well-developed forest paths to the Mayen climbing forest, which is just before Kürrenberg. The climbing forest provides some variety along the route and is great for a family outing.

Leisurely walk to the Eiterbach. The short circular hiking trail begins in Mayen at the Mayen West train station. From here it leads first to the Eiterbach and finally back to the old town of Mayen.
