Best forest trails in Kalkar

This route makes a loop around the Wisseler See and also explores the Wisseler Dunes. It begins at the Wisseler See holiday and camping park. It heads north to the dunes, passing Wisseler Park. On the way back, the path follows the lake for a bit before heading back again.

An interesting and varied tour was developed along the fields and floodplains, through the idyllic forests of Sonsbeck Switzerland.

This route starts in the town of Kalkar and explores the fields and farms in the area. It leads to the Rhine, which offers a beautiful view. On the way back to Kalkar you also pass the Wisseler See. It is ideally covered by bike, but can also be covered on foot if desired.
