Best bike touring trails in Kalkar

Varied round trip in North Rhine-Westphalia. On this tour you can discover the countryside and towns between Grieth and Kleve. On mostly paved paths along roads, it goes a bit along the beautiful Rhine and to Emmerich am Rhein. If you have time, go discover the city and take a break in one of the countless restaurants near the shore. Then it's back over the Emmerich Rhine bridge and to Kleve. An interesting and varied tour was developed along the fields and floodplains, through the idyllic forests of Sonsbeck Switzerland.

This route starts in the town of Kalkar and explores the fields and farms in the area. It leads to the Rhine, which offers a beautiful view. On the way back to Kalkar you also pass the Wisseler See. It is ideally covered by bike, but can also be covered on foot if desired.
