Best camping trails in Ostseebad Insel Poel

Popular hike on the island of Poel, Mecklenburg-West Pomerania. The Baltic Sea resort of Insel Poel invites you to enjoy extensive hikes with fantastic sea views. The route starts at the Schwarzer Busch and follows the west coast of the beautiful island in the Wismar Bay. The turning point is at the port of Timmendorf. On the island of Poel there is a parking lot directly behind the bridge. There you can park and bring your canoe or kayak to the shore. Poel is the 7th largest island in Germany and this route leads around it! At the southern end of the island is the Fauler See- and Rustwerder nature reserve. At the northern end of the island is the Langenwerder nature reserve.
