Best historic site trails in Ostercappeln

The start is on the small settlement road Breitenriede, which branches off to the left of Venner Straße (crossing Kortlüke towards Venne). The bus from Osnabrück stops near the Vehrter Church. If you want to shorten the round a little, the loop through the upper Nettetal can be saved for later and starts at the Engelriede, at the Naturfreundehaus (Friedhof bus stop). That is about 4 km less to walk.
