Official route of the RTF. Tour 1 of the GIRO Hattersheim is a difficult road bike tour and an extreme endurance test that leads through the challenging Taunus Mountains. The highlight and greatest feat of strength is the crossing of the Großer Feldberg at 878 meters above sea level. Although the surface is asphalted, the numerous long climbs and fast, winding descents present an all-day physical challenge. This is a technically easy but physically demanding route.
