This route begins at the Spatenau car park. It leads through the forest up to the Alfred Drexel house. A little further is the Pölcher Schneid, which is almost 1400 meters high. On the way back you pass the Doaglalm, where you can stop and rest if you wish. From there it is a short walk back to the starting point.
