Best hard trails in Erlangen

Great circular hike from Erlangen to Franconian Switzerland. It goes from the north of Erlangen through the Erlanger Meilwald over the Marloffstein clay pit through Neunkirchen am Brand to Franconian Switzerland. Once across the Haarbachwald, the hike leads through Hetzles back over the Rathsberg to Erlangen. MTB circuit on the Frankenweg from Erlangen to Franconian Switzerland. The path contains only a few asphalt sections, mostly the route runs on forest and field paths. When there is little "activity", the path is best to ride on a mountain bike. The downhill stretches are all manageable with the best "flow" and technically not very difficult.

Challenging road bike event near Erlangen, Bavaria. This is the bike course of the M-net Triathlon in Erlangen (since 2019).
