This is a beautiful hike that leads from the Schiltach through the romantic hilly landscape of the southern Black Forest to the ruins of Waldau Castle. There are several inns near the route that invite you to stop for refreshments in a rustic atmosphere (see waypoints on the map). The route runs over long distances in the forest with some beautiful viewpoints. There are two longer climbs from Kinzigtal to Adelsberg and from Naturfreundehaus to the hamlet of Brandsteig.
