Best mountain biking trails in Ludwigsburg

The route starts in Ludwigsburg / Poppenweiler and leads past Buchenbach, Wüstenbach and Murr. Most of the time, you ride on meadow paths and trails. The bike has to be pushed through the water twice (Buchenbach and Wüstenbach), but the feet remain dry because there are stones on which you can walk. The desert stream will be traversed a short distance. The route is technically not particularly demanding, requires strong studs on the tires in winter or on rainy days due to the slippery surface.

Start in Eglosheim at the TSV parking lot. Past the Monrepossee towards Asperg. At the outdoor pool, go through the passage under the railway tracks, along Hohenasperg and then continue on the Höhenweg to the Markgröningen clinic area. After crossing the country road, it goes up to the Flohberghaus and then always along the edge of the forest. Trail down to Enzknie (open on Sundays) and then right along the Enz. After the Enzauen again up to the Schellenhof and back into the Rotenackerwald....
