Best forest trails in Freudenberg

The path leads over Dürrhof, Fichtenfeldhütte, Turm and Hoi-Hopp-Stein. There are places to stop for a break.

From the Main facility it goes over the Viehweg, past the Mautersbrunnen, the Stundenstein, the refuge and over the Spartakusweg back to the Main Valley

It is a short route that starts in the village of Boxtal, located in the Wildebachtal. It makes a short loop through the forest to the south and east of town. Arriving in the forest, it leads south via the Dorlesweg. Finally you come to the Boxtaler Philosophenweg. It makes a sharp turn and then returns to the city along this path.

From the Mainanlage it goes over the cattle path to the Kreuzschleife, past the Seebrünnle and the Freudenburg and over the Maintal cycle path back to the starting point. The waymark is a white "1" with an "F" in a circle.

This is a short distance between Wessental and Rauenberg. It leads through the woods around the Mühltalstraße and also follows the torrent. It can be started anywhere along the way. It also leads past the cemetery. Because it's relatively short, it's ideal for jogging or walking the dog.

This route starts in the village of Ebenheid. It leads north and into the forest. Once in the forest, she uses the Rankweg, a short path that borders the Bavarian Odenwald Nature Park. (Although this trail is NOT in the park). It makes a loop and on the way back you pass the Flaschdarre Ebenheid.
