Varied hike in the Saxon Switzerland National Park, Saxony.
There are several possible climbing routes on this tour, ranging from easy to very difficult. On the Müllerstein alone there are a number of possible ascents: on the valley side the day tour (VIIIb), Schildbürgeriß (VIIIa), Müllersteinkante (Xb) and Circus Maximus (XIb). There are also climbing opportunities on the Schrammsteine and Lehnhorn. The tour is not suitable for children. The Saxon climbing rules apply in this area.
The route starts at the car park on the B172 at the ascent to the Berghütte zum Guten Bier. This is where the ascent to the Schrammsteine begins, leading to the first highlights, the Müllerstein and the Saurier. The second ascent to the Lehnhorn vantage point begins a little way downhill via the Lehne. You can linger there for a while before returning downhill via the Elbleitenweg.
