This trekking tour crosses the Berchtesgaden National Park from north to south. Appropriate equipment, hiking experience in alpine terrain, a good level of fitness and surefootedness are essential for the hike on the Wimbachweg, the Oberlahnersteig and the Kleine Saugasse.

Start at the Wimbachbrücke bridge and follow the wide track to the Wimbachklamm gorge, where the route continues on a farm track.
