This is a relatively easy hike in the Berchtesgaden National Park, starting at Hintersee (accessible by bus / paid car park). It can be walked in both directions and makes a small loop around the Halskopf, which is almost 1300 metres high. However, the paths are well developed and climb relatively easily to the Halsalm, so it is not too difficult. The short distance is perfect for a family hike. Back at the lake, you can stop off at the Seeklause.
