This challenging hike starts at the National Park Information Centre southwest of Hintersee at the Hirschbichl car park, which is subject to a charge.
The Kammerlinghorn is located in the Hocheis massif. The paths leading there are well marked and accessible. From the car park, the trail first leads through the Klausbach valley with its legendary suspension bridges to the Bindalm near the German-Austrian border at the end of the Klausbach valley. From here in particular, the route climbs quite steeply in places via a well-marked path to the summit of the 2483 metre-high Kammerlinghorn - sturdy shoes and surefootedness are a prerequisite here.
You can return along the same route or take the variant via the Kammerlinalm, which is only recommended in dry weather.
