Best trails near Dorfbrunnen

As usual. Still very muddy in the forest, so only wide paths. At least there was no water from above today. First down into the Mümlingtal and then via the Georg-Verst-Heim up to the Dammberg and over to the Breubergblick. Then back into the Mümling valley and along the Mümling valley cycle path to Hainstadt. Here you cycle up to the historic waterworks dating back to 1901 and on to Frankfurter Straße. Now back home again. #noebike

This tour is organised once a year. With the Odenwald railway to Eberbach and then back to Höchst via the Reußenkreuz, the Bullauer Bild, Würzberg, Vielbrunn, Toter Mann and the Rimhorner Höhe. Many metres in altitude and a lot of Odenwald. Ingenious. #noebike

On the road in the northern Odenwald

We pass the Georg-Verst-Heim and head up to the Auerbrunnen fountain. Here we stock up on drinking water for the tour. Then over the Rimhorner Höhe and a few nice trails to the Toten Mann. Now past the former Hainhaus ammunition depot over to Kimbach. Now once again up to the mountain rescue hut and over the Wolfsbrunnen down to Bad König. Now just take the Mümlingtal cycle path back to Höchst. #noebike
