Best camping trails in Höchst im Odenwald

Varied hike in the Odenwald, Hesse. Nauses Castle dates back to the Middle Ages and was originally a moated castle. It was first mentioned in a document in 1471 and was rebuilt towards the end of the 15th century, and the buildings that stand there today also date from this period. To reach this historical highlight, you walk from Höchst train station in the Odenwald through open fields or partly through the forest. On the road in the northern Odenwald

First 29km on the Mümlingtal cycle path until shortly before Hetzbach. Then it goes into the forest. A small tarmac road leads up to Gebhardshütte, past the Königs-Brunnen fountain. After Gebharshütte, cross over to Bullauer Bild and continue to Eulbachpark. There is also a refreshment stop here.
